Who's That Girlllll

It's said that the only real requirement to be a successful blogger is having passion for your topic and y'all know how I feel about the ever evolving STL music, food and entertainment scene. For those who don't know I was born into a musically inclined family, but was truly inspired to support local everything after attending a benefit concert in 2002 held at Broadway Oyster Bar for the man who knew me as his granddaughter, John "Big Bad Smitty" Henry Smith. You could literally feel the love pouring into the packed room and the performances still stuck with me today. I knew then that I wanted to make my mark on the STL scene, but I had no idea how or honestly where to begin. I was part of the "DeSeg" program and graduated from in 2005 from Oakville High School where I attended choir all four years, but the only thing on my mind was college or work cuz mama made it clear I was gonna have to fend for myself now. There was a time when I looked up to and was inspired by my brother Johnathan aka Snug D Butta who had the city rockin' with his hit single "I Beat it Back" so hard that he was offered a deal by Atlantic Records, but sadly it seemed the little notoriety he received lead him to drug addiction. Fast forward through the neglect, partying, brief homelessness and alcoholism because in 2012 my husband finally decided to seek me out and changed my life forever. Today, the world knows him as Rocky Maverick and because of his passion and decision to have me as part of management, I've developed a skill I didn't know I had. I've partnered with Bet on Blacc Magazine/Radio, Ibenagod, Shoe Dash as well as other artists or businesses looking for creative ways to capture their audience, but I will say that my Google Reviews are what folks know me for though.      Saint Louis has always been an underrated city that offers some of the most unique styles, food, music, etc and I get to share my point of view as a self proclaimed blogger. I started XTRAWILEY ACCESS with the goal of offering readers a glimpse into my mind and experiences. What started out as a hashtag which slowly evolved into a dynamic site packed with information about various topics that are near and dear to me. I got a lot to say so take some time to explore and see for yourself what the hype is about 😏.
